Eagles Win Nail Biter 24-20!

The Eagles went on the road last Friday night to Beech Grove and won a nail biter 24-20 in a very hostile environment. Quarterback Matt Hunt was 20 for 35, 255 yards passing, and 75 yards rushing with 1 touchdown. Alex Cook ran the ball hard and scored 2 touchdowns on the night. Randall Cork, Brady Allard and Anthony Warrum all had over 60 yards receiving.

The defense played great holding the Beech Grove passing attack to 37 total yards on the night. Brendon Burke and CJ Stein led the team in tackles. Seth Moffitt, Matt Fitzpatrick and Ryan Shrock all had 4 tackles each on the night.

Kyle Green remained perfect on his extra points, and kicked a 37 yarder that would later prove to be huge in the victory. The eagles are 6-0 and ranked #2 in the nation in Christian High Schools. They are still ranked 6th in the state. This Friday night the Eagles return home to play host to an undefeated and very good Arsenal Tech team. It's Homecoming week so be sure to come out this Friday (7:00pm) and support your Eagles in what promises to be an exciting and important game!
