Cheerleaders Offer Great Stocking Stuffer Idea!

Show your school spirit and support the cheerleaders at the same time!  The newly designed 2011 Heritage tumblers are now on sale for $12 and would make a great stocking stuffer.  The new tumbler is blue, heavy duty acrylic, sweat proof, has matching lid/straw and will hold a full 16 ounces of your favorite hot or cold beverage.   These are very similar to the containers sold at Starbucks and McAlister's!  See one of the varsity cheerleaders or email Melinda Just at melinda.just@heritagechristian.net to order.  We only have 100 tumblers and when they are gone – they’re gone!

Fellowship of Christian Athletes Group Forming - 'The Huddle'

We are excited to announce the formation of a FCA Huddle.  The group meets every Tuesday morning at 7:20am in the high school gym mezzanine.  Don’t think you have to be an athlete to attend; the goal is simple - grow in your personal relationship with Christ.  The meetings will last about 25 minutes and consist of guest speakers, student lead devotionals, small group interactions, and FREE donuts and orange juice!  Join Kiel Atkinson for fellowship, fun and food on Tuesday mornings.

Booster Club Names Dave Freeman as President

The Athletic Booster Club is pleased to announce the naming of its new President, Dave Freeman.  Dave and his wife Stephanie are Heritage parents to Lane (10th) and Dawson (7th).  Dave and Stephanie have both been active in the Booster Club in prior years, and Dave has recently felt led and encouraged to accept this position with the desire to positively impact the support our Booster Club offers to the Athletic Department, coaches and student-athletes.

Plan to attend the next monthly Booster Club meeting on Wednesday, November 9 at 5:30pm in the Health Room (High School gym building), and help us officially welcome Dave.  There are still plenty of opportunities to be a part of the Booster Club team.  Our motto this year has been….volunteer a little, volunteer a lot!  All are welcome.  Hope to see you on November 9!
