Burke, Green and Warrum Receive Football All-City Honors

Seniors Brendon Burke and Kyle Green and Sophomore Anthony Warrum received special honors at a luncheon hosted by the Indianapolis Colts and the Kiwanis Club of Indianapolis this month.  Kyle and Anthony were named to the 2010 All-City Team and Brendon was awarded Academic MVP and was a Great Player nominee.   The three football standouts were accompanied to the luncheon by their Head Coach, Ron Qualls and Athletic Director, Jeff Freeman.  Congratulations Brendon, Kyle and Anthony! 

Middle School (5th thru 7th grades) Club Volleyball Now Forming

Any 5^th thru 7^th grade girl interested in participating in Club Volleyball, please contact Michelle York at michelle.york@heritagechristian.net as soon as possible.  Practices will begin in early January.

Dave Calabro Receives 2010-11 IHSAA Distinguished Media Service Award

Dave Calabro of WTHR-TV Channel 13 in Indianapolis (and Heritage parent) was named the recipient of the 2010-11 IHSAA Distinguished Media Service Award for District II.  As Sports Director for WTHR-TV, Calabro appears virtually seven days a week on Channel 13.  He anchors sports on weeknights on Eyewitness News and hosts the popular "13 SportsJam" Sunday nights at 11:20 pm.  Calabro’s  “Operation Football”, with its frequent helicopter stops across the area, and “Operation Basketball” features have become highly popular with viewers all over central Indiana.   CONGRATULATIONS Dave from the Heritage Christian Athletic Department.

Girls HOOPFEST Game - December 14, 2010

The High School Girls Basketball program will be hosting a HOOPFEST at their Varsity game on December 14 when the Lady Eagles host Indian Creek High School.  We encourage all Elementary and Middle School girls interested in basketball to come out and meet the Varsity team.  There will be special reserved seating behind our home bench along with some fun pre-game activities for the girls.  Wear your team t-shirt or uniform jersey and come out to sneak a peek at the future of girls basketball at Heritage.  The JV game begins at 6:00pm with the Varsity game to follow at 7:30pm.  Pre game activities will occur between 7:00 and 7:30pm.  Hope to see you there!
